Men's Long-Sleeve T-Shirts

There are weeks of the year when you need a jacket in the morning and a T-shirt by midday. A men's long-sleeve T-shirt is the answer. It keeps you warm under a jacket without adding bulk, and looks great on its own when you take the jacket off. It's the kind of item that rarely demands attention but gets worn all the time.

Our men's long-sleeve collection includes plain essentials, styles with badges, logos or back prints, and sporty designs – with crew necks, polo collars or stand-up collars, in different fits, colours and sizes. Here's what to look for when choosing yours.

What's the difference between a sweatshirt and a long-sleeve T-shirt?

The fabric. A long-sleeve T-shirt is made from lightweight jersey, just like a regular T-shirt. A sweatshirt uses thicker sweatshirt fabric, often brushed on the inside, and has ribbed cuffs and hems. That makes the long-sleeve T-shirt the lighter layer – ideal under jumpers, shirts or jackets. A sweatshirt is more often the layer you wear over it.

When should you wear long-sleeve T-shirts?

Men's long-sleeve T-shirts are perfect for the changing weather of spring and autumn. In winter they work as a base layer under jumpers, and on cool summer evenings they're often a better choice than a short-sleeve T-shirt. There's a practical benefit too: long sleeves provide extra protection from the cold and UV rays, particularly when exercising outside or travelling. That's why our range also includes sporty long-sleeve tops with logos for training.

Which men's long-sleeve fit is right for you?

The fit should suit how you plan to wear the top. Our men's long-sleeve T-shirts come in several cuts:

  • Regular Fit is our most common fit and a versatile everyday choice – straight cut, comfortable and with enough room to move.
  • Loose Fit is noticeably roomier, with a casual silhouette and dropped shoulders. For an even more relaxed look, try our oversized T-shirts.
  • Slim Fit sits close to the body and works particularly well as an underlayer beneath shirts and jumpers. For sport, the close fit helps moisture move away from the skin.
  • Relaxed Fit sits between Regular and Loose: a little more room across the chest and sleeves without looking oversized.

You can find the measurements for each of our men's long-sleeve T-shirts in our size guide.

Men's long-sleeve colours and designs

Black and white are our most popular colours – and for good reason, as both go with everything. Shop the classics directly with our black long-sleeve T-shirts and white long-sleeve T-shirts. You'll also find blue, grey, beige and brown for understated alternatives, plus red and green when you want more colour.

Minimalist, single-colour designs are at the heart of the collection, and these basics are the easiest to mix and match. For more personality, choose a long-sleeve T-shirt with a chest badge, text graphic or print on the back. If you need several, go for a three-pack.

Three outfits with a long-sleeve T-shirt

Men's long-sleeve T-shirts are incredibly versatile and easy to style for everyday wear, changing seasons or the office.

  • Everyday: Team a black or white Regular Fit long-sleeve top with dark jeans and trainers – it doesn't get much easier.
  • Between seasons: Start with a long-sleeve top, then layer an open overshirt or denim jacket over it. Two layers you can add or remove as temperatures change.
  • At the office: A long-sleeve polo-collar top in a muted colour under a blazer looks more modern than a classic shirt – provided the occasion isn't too formal.

When long sleeves are too much

On warmer days, short sleeves take over. Our T-shirts come in every fit; our basic T-shirts are versatile plain-colour essentials, while polo shirts are the choice when you want to look a little smarter with a collar. That way, your wardrobe has a top for every temperature.
