Blazers

A blazer is the piece that can pull an outfit together in seconds. Over a T-shirt it feels relaxed, over a blouse it looks polished, and over a dress it becomes occasion-ready – without you having to change anything else. We think that alone is reason enough to own more than one.

In our selection of women's blazers, you'll find both sides: oversized cuts with an easy drape and tailored styles that follow the figure – plain or striped, with different lapel and collar shapes. Two silhouettes that look very different yet both fit effortlessly into everyday life.

Oversized or tailored blazer?

The two cuts do different things. An oversized blazer has broader shoulders, more volume and a relaxed drape – the modern, laid-back option that works especially well with slim trousers and jeans. A tailored blazer follows the figure, defines the waist and therefore looks cleaner and more elegant.

Both are equally at home in our collection, and both are genuine everyday pieces – this isn't a choice between office and off-duty, but between two different silhouettes. Our tip if you can't decide: start with a tailored style in a calm, versatile colour. Make the oversized blazer your more expressive second option.

Which blazer colour should you choose first?

Black and grey are the two most versatile blazer colours – they work with almost everything in your wardrobe and are the safest choices for the office. Beige and brown are warmer alternatives and feel softer, especially in spring.

Pink and blue are the colours to explore after that. A colourful blazer can carry the whole outfit, so the rest can stay simple. And if you want more visual structure without going straight for colour, a striped style does the same job with very little effort.

How a blazer should fit

Three checks tell you whether the size is right. The shoulder seam should sit at the edge of your shoulder, not below it. The sleeves should end at the wrist without bunching. And when fastened, your JJXX blazer shouldn't pull across the chest – a tailored cut can sit close to the body, but it shouldn't create horizontal creases.

Oversized styles follow different rules: a dropped shoulder is part of the design, so the usual shoulder-seam rule doesn't apply. You'll find the exact measurements in our size guide.

Blazer materials and feel

Most blazers are made from easy-care fabric blends. Viscose adds a soft drape and comfortable feel, polyester helps the fabric hold its shape and resist creasing, and a small amount of elastane can noticeably improve comfort – especially in closer-fitting styles.

For cooler days, wool blends are the warmer choice; for summer, lighter fabrics work better. You'll find the exact composition of your favourite style in the product description.

How to style a JJXX blazer

The easiest option is with jeans and a simple top underneath – a look that works from the office right through to dinner. For something more polished, pair it with tailored trousers in the same or a coordinating shade.

For a more relaxed version, wear the blazer open over a shirt or a simple tee. If you want to soften the look even more, push the sleeves up once. Sounds good, right?
